LOL They call me a racist even though I never mention race. The best part is my husband’s black and my kids are bi-racial. Dopes.
They always say things like, “Oh now wouldn’t it be wrong to make sure people get health care?” Idiots who doesn’t want people to get medical attention. If you have a better way they always make it out to be that you’re a racist or want to let someone die. Like we’re all white, male millionaires who got our money by shaking down the poor little guy, we’re Scrooge.

Health care is not a business, its a required service like utilities that everyone needs to benefit from. Dont mix up the two, they dont go together.

Thinks prople, this video is being sarcastic towards the health care system; do you guys really think that in 0:34 if they are really hitting out against Obama and supporting the health care system they would say the health care system is making billions profit or then they say that the health care keep selfish priorities 0:45 and at the end they say “and i’m not being sarcastic”

And, Ibtw, ‘m a super die hard Will Ferrell fan. But, I just wish he’d stick to entertainment. He’s not a credible political commentator.

So, takeover or another option, it’s still a different issue than fixing the problems that reduce private insurance competitors from state to state. If there’s an organizational problem with the insurance industry, they can be resolved without government getting into the business of health care. .

someone doesn’t have a life, replying at every single comment on this vid……..
September 24th, 2009 at 4:21 pm
BTW, good vid.
September 24th, 2009 at 4:21 pm
Very well and reasonable. Thank you trinsic1.

Accept, what is being proposed is not a federal takeover. thats a flat out lie driven by health insurance companies and staffers who are trying to influence this debate. Take a look at two of my videos. Wendel Potter a retired health insurance spokesperson talks about this in his interview. its good support evidence, you don’t have to believe every word of it, but its good to see the other side of the debate at least.
September 24th, 2009 at 4:21 pm
maybe we should reform the insurance company issues outside the scope of a federal takeover and then decide if health care shoudl be socialized.

coments are not being blocked on my end. I did have some problems posting comments of my own yesterday, could be youtube. I have been and will be deleting comments that directly attack other people with name calling or racial slurs

Such a tiring point “insurance companies execs make too much money”. I agree, it’s a problem, but isn’t it a bit hypocritical for a guy that made over $30 million last year to be making this objection? If we follow this logic, maybe the Feds shoudl also take over hollywood because funny guys like Will make too much flipping money!
September 24th, 2009 at 4:21 pm
I havent had time to research that yet, i will look at that tomorrow. kitten don’t be surprised about all of the opposing view points, this isnt a conspiracy. there are alot of people that are tired of the health care system and its going to change to something more balanced this year. That is for sure.
September 24th, 2009 at 4:21 pm
kitten, the government is more influenced by the people then for profit companies are by a long shot. Id rather put my faith in that, because at lease we have some power to change things if we all work together, For profit companies are in it for the money. thats fine for other products, but not for health care.

The real humor? That they even thought to produce such a video considering the irony of what they would have you believe!
1. That a bunch of well-paid and in some cases very rich actors/actresses are somehow credible spokespeople to criticize corporate America. No irony here…
2. That the same gang that brought you Social Security, Medicare/Medicare, the US Post Office, Fanny & Freddie, etc. (all broke!), is going to lead us to a better health-care plan.
O… K….

Though I don’t know about opposing opinions being blocked or deleted, I encourage you to express yourself, whether I agree with you or not, and I would fight for your right to express it. If opposing comments are being deleted, I ask for trinsic1 to allow any and all opposing comments to be shown. Though, I feel i have to ask, what proof do you have, kittenagogo28, that comments are being blocked?

Rising health premiums correlates with increased government spending in health care. The same phenomenon is occurring with college tuition. People complain things cost too much so the government subsidizes it (cause it gets them re-elected) exacerbating the problem. Its a never ending cycle….
September 24th, 2009 at 4:21 pm
Also, kittenagogo28, our healthcare system is not the best in the world by any means. This is not an opinion, but rooted in facts, statistics, and data that can be found by just a simple Google search.
September 24th, 2009 at 4:21 pm
As for the reason behind the belief that health insurance co. are “evil” is due to the fact that, as a middle man, they gain exorbitant amount of money off the suffering of others. However, that is just an opinion that many agree upon.
September 24th, 2009 at 4:21 pm
kittenagogo28,
As trinsic1 has said we are not asking for a free system, but a cheaper system, and I think for all of us to have a better and more informative debate we should choose a bill being proposed to debate about. That being said, none of the bills being proposed inact a free health care system.

Hey GH Fan
You’re wrong
People ARE turned away if they don’t have the insurance or the CASH! You’re DEAD wrong.. Support the public option!!
September 24th, 2009 at 4:21 pm
I am a blue collar working American and I support the public option
September 24th, 2009 at 4:21 pm
Lastly, no one is saying that our health care system is fine the way it is. it needs reform. But the public option is NOT the solution. the solution lies within strengthening the relationship and removing bureaucracy between the doctor and the patient. feel free to argue me.
September 24th, 2009 at 4:21 pm
Billionaires for Wealthcare did it better. They took pretty much this same premise but they actually went to anti-healthcare rallies, as a group, in character. The result was not only more funny but it drove the point home in a much stronger fashion.
September 24th, 2009 at 4:21 pm
alright, aside from the fact that they’re being huge hypocrites, how often are children forced to pay for breaking their legs? where does that happen because i’ve never heard of such a case. also, 80% of the American public is a made up number. Where did it come from? why are you treating your fans like idiots? do you think they just believe some random number because you say it?
